The Retro Rockets are a Northern California band that specializes in Live Classic Rock and Blues with an emphasis on the music of the 60's.
Many of the songs we play you just won’t hear live anywhere else. Here’s just a few of the artists we cover: The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Joni Mitchell, Badfinger, CCR, Paul McCartney, Van Morrison, Thunderclap Newman, Buffalo Springfield, Spencer Davis, Johnny Rivers, Booker T & MG's, Otis Redding, The Young Rascals, Richie Valens, Wilson Pickett and many more!
Our sound is classic as well, our guitar amplifiers are vacuum tube based just as they were in the 60's and many of the guitars, amps and effect pedals we use are vintage or vintage reproductions.
Our past venues have included
Night Clubs, Corporate Events, Charity Events, Special Events & Festivals for The City of San Jose, Santa Clara & Mountain View, Grand Openings, High School Reunions, Private Parties and Political / Environmental Organizations.

The Reto Rockets started in January 1999 as a four piece rock & roll band formed to play at a birthday party for a mutual friend of Danny and Cesario. Three of the four original members worked for the City of San Jose and were later joined by two other musicians, also city employees, to play at a city department picnic. It is no coincidence that the band's original name was "The Regulators".
Over the years the band has had many members, but the original two (Danny & Cesario) are still key members.
